My Current Plans For Streaming Video Games

About a year ago, I released a blog post called “A Harmless Bit Of Self-Promotion” which covered much of the content that I’ve been producing as of late. However, besides a few things that I can’t talk about yet, something new that I’ve been trying lately is to stream myself playing games. Now that it’s been a couple of months, I thought now was as good a time as any to take a look at my current plans for streaming video games, how you can access the content I’ve already made and what you should expect in the future.

Let’s start, of course, with where and when you can find me streaming. I’m currently streaming games on Twitch every Sunday (or, if circumstances prevent me from doing so, Saturday) at around 2pm IST. I’m a variety streamer with the games I’m choosing to play being titles from my video game backlog with one caveat, I’m currently staying away from games with an excessively long playtime, as determined by HLTB, as I don’t want to spend too long playing a single game this early on as I think I can catch more people’s attention with a wider range of titles.

The three games I’ve streamed so far as of this article.

In addition to these streams, I’m also uploading them onto a YouTube channel called “Immortallium Gaming” as the whole unedited stream as well as highlight videos which cut out many of the quiet moments and focus on the more exciting parts of the stream. The highlight video is released first every Thursday at 5pm IST with the full stream releasing the next day at the same time so, if you want to, you can catch up before my next stream.

As for the future, I haven’t got any set plans but I can talk about what may happen. In the event that my streams start to gain traction, I do intend to move up to two streams a week instead of just one. The Sunday stream would continue to focus on relatively short games while another day would be set aside for games that are of a longer length. I have a few ideas beyond that but I think that it’s too early right now to speak about them and, instead, I should just focus on becoming a Twitch Affiliate.

My most recent highlights video as of the writing of this article.

Of course, I would fully encourage any and all feedback with regards to my streams. While I’ve done my best to figure out as much as I could beforehand, I’m sure there’re many ways that I can improve the streams themselves, the content made afterwards and the settings on Twitch which is part of why I thought to write this blog post. The more people who participate and help me means that I can iron out any and all issues which, in turn, makes the streams better for everyone.

I hope you decide to check out my streams and that you enjoy the content. If you do so, let me know what you think about my current plans for streaming video games, how I can improve, what you think about the games that I’m playing, what some of your favourite moments are and any additional information you might have on the topic.

Thanks for reading and if you wish to seek any of the titles I mentioned, don’t hesitate to use amazon.co.uk or amazon.com for all of your needs!
