Howdy, Immortallium here and welcome to my blog!
As a fan of anime, manga and video games, I have made it my mission to bring attention to the many obscure but brilliant titles present throughout these media. I also seek to raise awareness of the behind-the-scenes process of these industries and to help fans to learn how to understand and support the creators.
Many years ago, I became infatuated with the mediums of anime, manga and video games and how they could tell stories that were moving, entertaining and engaging. As time passed, I realized that many of the titles that I adored were relatively obscure. Meanwhile, I could see, by attending conventions and interacting with other fans, that there was an air of mystery behind these industries that could lead to many false assumptions and misunderstandings that might prove harmful to the creators. Since then, I have been able to, with the help of others, build a community that is interested in seeking out the best that the mediums have to offer and to learn about how these industries function.
I can only hope that the community that we have built continues to grow and that we can help anime, manga and video games thrive as mediums through which creators can continue to move us with their stories.
Who am I?
I’ve been running a YouTube channel called “Immortallium” for many years now through which I review anime and manga titles and discuss topics related to those industries. These videos act to inform people of relatively unknown titles and to discuss the many aspects and issues of these mediums.
One of my proudest accomplishments was being able to contribute to tezukainenglish.com. I have been a fan of Osamu Tezuka for many years and one of the reasons that I began the persona “Immortallium” was to raise awareness of Osamu Tezuka’s works for an English speaking audience. I could not be more honoured that I was able to write info pages for manga written by Osamu Tezuka and help English speakers learn more about him.
